In Too Deep

For the Senior Capstone Project (Thesis), Juliann Craft choreographed a piece with five dancers. It was performed at the Krannert Center for the Performing Arts as a part of the Fall Senior Dance Concert SOLACE. Craft was not only a choreographer for the concert, but also acted as treasurer, designed the program, and gave the opening speech.

In Too Deep is an elegant contemporary dance work with an edge of discomposure that investigates the human experiences of love, shame, and resilience. It explores these emotions and the behaviors that follow through contemporary and balletic movement in addition to a conversation between effortful and effortless movement aesthetics.
