Juliann Craft is a dancer, choreographer, and educator currently based in New York City. Craft graduated from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in May of 2024 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance where she received holistic training in Modern codified techniques, release technique, contemporary and postmodern aesthetics, Ballet, Umfundalai, Pilates, Yoga, and more. She participated in a plethora of creative processes and performances with faculty, students, and guest artists. She was awarded the Talented Student Tuition Award in 2020 and 2023, the Undergraduate Performance Award in 2023, and the Lisa Carducci Memorial Award in 2024 by the UIUC Department of Dance.

Craft is currently pursuing a professional career in dance performance and choreography and looks forward to new experiences and expanding her repertoire.

Fertile Ground is a non-curated showcase for emerging and/or established artists. The evening consists of work shown by six choreographers, followed by a moderated discussion that integrates the choreographers, dancers, and audience members.”
